Amanda Pajares


Amanda Pajares of Bartlett, was appointed to the Board in 2018, and her term expires on May 31, 2019.

Regent Pajares received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2006 from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she was a decorated, multi-sport athlete. She was named Division III Captain, Varsity Collegiate Women’s Volleyball Team (2003-06) and was named to several all-conference teams. She also played basketball on the Varsity Collegiate Women’s Basketball Team (2003-05).

Currently a UNT Dallas College of Law student, Regent Pajares has served on numerous committees and organizations, including being co-chair of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association Leadership Class of 2017, Student Bar Association, IL Class Representative, a member of the Board of Advocates, a member of the mock trial team, and Women in Law Student Association.

Regent Pajares served as judicial law clerk for Judge Tonya Parker, 116th Civil District Court in Dallas in 2017 and worked as a summer law clerk at Crain Lewis Brogdon in 2018 and 2017. Prior to enrolling at UNT Dallas College of Law, Pajares had a successful career, holding the position of vice president at Stream Data Centers in Dallas, and she was an account executive with Equinix Inc., in Dallas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler, she became a regional account manager at Suddenlink Communications in Tyler.

In her free time, Pajares volunteers with Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship.

Regent Pajares is married to husband, Rowdy.
