Adebola "Serah" Sulaiman of Mesquite was appointed as Student Regent to the Board of Regents on June 1, 2023, and her term expires on May 31, 2023. Serah is pursuing a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Methodist University and a master's degree in Spanish Language Arts and Culture from the University of Salamanca in Spain.
