DENTON (UNT), Texas — The University of North Texas is announcing the launch of a new collaborative program designed to streamline and enhance the use of corporate tuition benefits for university partners: the Tuition Benefit Concierge Service.
Developed jointly by UNT’s Division of Strategic Educational Alliances and the Division of Enrollment, the program launches April 1 and offers employers a streamlined, concierge-style approach to helping their employees leverage tuition benefits to strengthen workforce development and retention.
"Business and industry leaders are key partners for UNT as we work together to address employers’ changing talent needs and help students at all stages of their careers unlock their full potential,” said UNT President Harrison Keller, Ph.D. “Through the Tuition Benefit Concierge Service, our employer partners receive enhanced support in tailoring educational opportunities and applying tuition benefits for their employees to help them upskill or reskill to advance in their careers. This is one more way UNT fulfills our commitment to create enduring value for the public good and drive opportunities for the North Texas economy."

Offering options specifically developed to address the needs of both employers and employees.
The service provides a range of opportunities tailored to both employers and their employees. Corporate partners can choose from three tiers of partnership, including access to UNT’s full portfolio of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as professional certificates. Dedicated concierge support guides employees and human resources teams through enrollment, billing and other university processes, while marketing and recruitment support ensures employees are aware of the benefits available to them and the value of the credentials to their career.
“Our goal with the Tuition Benefit Concierge Service is to make higher education more accessible for employees while helping our corporate partners develop and retain talent,” said Michelle Singh, Ph.D., vice president of strategic educational alliances. “This program aligns academic offerings directly with workforce needs, turning tuition benefits into measurable outcomes for organizations.”
Employer-aligned academic guidance and custom reporting help organizations track employee progress and align learning with workforce priorities. Cohort-based programs and curated degree plans can be created exclusively for a company’s employees, either online or on-site.
Employees benefit from an easy enrollment process, career-aligned academic programs and access to free professional certificates through UNT Career Academy on Coursera, including industry-recognized programs from Adobe, Microsoft, Google, IBM and Meta. From onboarding to graduation, employees have support every step of the way.
The Tuition Benefit Concierge Service is now open to new corporate partners seeking to empower their workforce through education. For more information or to explore partnership options, contact prolearning@unt.edu.
