Reading, Writing and Math Lessons Help Level Up Knowledge
For the second year in a row, incoming UNT Dallas students can receive free math, writing and reading classes over the summer to ensure they are prepared for college-level courses.
Future Trailblazers can register for the "Trail Ready" Summer Bridge Program through July 9. The classes start Monday, July 14.

Eligible students may sign up for the math bootcamp, which runs for four weeks, or the reading and writing bootcamp, which runs for three weeks. Both are designed to level up students' knowledge so they can enroll for the Fall semester. Click here to fill out the registration form.
UNT Dallas launched "Trail Ready" in 2024 as part of the university's commitment to help students navigate college and prepare for rigorous academic programs. Classes are held on campus to uplift students who need to meet Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) standards. At the end of program, they retake the state exam free of charge.
And, by meeting attendance requirements, students may receive free tuition for one first-year, 3-credit-hour course (English Composition or Introductory College
Math).

Bundled together, these three free offers provide students a great opportunity to get ready for an engaging and fulfilling college experience by:
- Meeting UNT Dallas faculty and staff members before fall
- Connecting with other freshman students
- Learning what they need to be successful at UNT Dallas
"Trail Ready" is the perfect way for students to jump-start their UNT Dallas journey before the Fall semester begins on August 25.
