Notice of Maintenance Extension

We have diligently worked throughout the night and continue to work to bring services back online in the new data center. All equipment was successfully moved out of the GAB on the UNT campus yesterday and into the new facility. Network set up, cabling, and routing have all been completed successfully. However, several elements have caused time delays that have compounded to prevent us from bringing all services back online by our targeted time of noon today. The current estimate is 4 p.m.

 

We will continue to update you per the progress of the relocation and provide hourly status updates beginning at noon.

 

Relocation of our data center is a necessary step in creating a more resilient and reliable infrastructure for the entire UNT System community, and we appreciate your support and patience as we continue to work.

The IT teams are still working on restoring our highest priority services. Our current estimate is 6p.m.

All hardware has been delivered to the new data center, but we are still experiencing connectivity issues. Troubleshooting efforts are underway to resolve the issues and the estimated time for services to be restored is 6:00 PM. We will continue to update you as new developments are available.
