Jim serves as Associate Vice Chancellor of Enterprise Applications teams and Project
Management Office.
As head of Enterprise Applications, Jim oversees the strategy, development, and administration
of the Enterprise Information System stack of products comprised of PeopleSoft Campus
Solutions, HCM, and Finance and enterprise database administration for the UNT System
and all campuses (UNT, UNT Health Science Center, and UNT Dallas). He also provides
leadership for strategic applications outside of the ERP such as our Imaging and Integration
platforms.
The PMO provides portfolio, demand, and project management services for UNT System
Enterprise IT initiatives, as well as business analysis services for the Enterprise
Applications teams and their customers.
Jim oversees the UNT System's AI initiatives and development, including, UNT System's
UNiTyAI platform. He works in concert with IT Leadership at all campuses to develop
AI strategy and governance. His team supports the development of new agents and works
with the campus Communities of Practice to build agentic solutions.
As part of the System IT Leadership team, Jim works with multiple leaders to create
strategic plans, develop budgets, and optimize services for our technology partners
and customers on all our campuses.
