Strategic Infrastructure, Planning & Construction

The University of North Texas System Office of Strategic Infrastructure delivers outstanding sustainable and enduring construction projects that maximize value, while supporting the mission of each campus.

With a staff of experienced architects, planners, interior designers and other construction and administrative professionals, the Office of Strategic Infrastructure provides professional planning, design and construction management for the UNT System campuses, as well as UNT System Administration, for all major renovation and construction projects. These responsibilities range from initial project development through programming, design, construction and commissioning.

Working closely with the UNT System Administration, as UNTS university faculty, staff and students, the Office of Strategic Infrastructure implements the highest standards in design, particularly focusing on high-performance, efficient, and sustainable facilities.

The Office of Strategic Infrastructure also leads day-to-day management of the Lee F. Jackson Building, headquarters for UNT System Administration at 1901 Main Street in downtown Dallas.

Ryan Swanson serves as the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Infrastructure.
