Ryan Swanson began his career as the first architect in a capital planning position at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He has led various master planning and capital infrastructure projects at Wake Forest University and Kansas State University, and outreach and development projects in London, Vienna, and Venice. In March of 2020, Swanson took over leadership of the newly formed Facilities, Planning and Capital Programs office in the Nebraska University Central System.
Swanson earned his degree in Architectural Studies, a Master of Architecture, and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
