University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) operates as an independent 4-year university from the flagship University of North Texas (UNT).
Students who wish to enroll in classes at UNT and UNT Dallas at the same time can participate in the UNT – UNT Dallas Affiliate Program. The Affiliate Program is a partnership between UNT and UNT Dallas that allows students the opportunity to take courses at the location most convenient for them. Students must complete a separate admission application through applytexas.org in order to take courses at the affiliate institution. Also, because the universities will operate separately, students will receive their degrees from their home institution.
